Here is how you can reset computers in different versions of Windows. 

Windows 10 to Wipe a Computer

  • Open your PC. Go to Settings
  • Click Update and Security
  • Go to Recovery
  • You will see Reset This PC at the top of the window and click Get Started.
  • You will then be asked whether you want to delete everything or keep your files. 
  • Choose Remove Everything. Click Next. And finally, click on the option of Reset

Note down that factory reset does not delete data from the hard drive. It just removes the data from system access. All the information still exists on the hard drive.
