You will have to determine the fabric of the couch and choose the cleaning method accordingly. For all kinds of couches, vacuum cleaning is favourable. So it would be better to start the deep cleaning by using a hand vacuum and sucking all the dirt and stuck food crumbs from it. Another way of cleaning it is to make a liquid mixture of baking soda, vinegar and warm water. You will have to spray all the couch and then rub it properly to ensure the trapped dirt gets wiped off. Let your sofa sit in the sun for drying after cleaning it with a clean and dry cloth.
